It is therefore necessary to pay attention to water temperature.
In the water you can not be very tired and have to swim slowly. Usually pregnant women are advised to swim on the back, because when swimming backstroke your stomach is stretched, arms and legs work. During pregnancy, avoid the active work of your hands and feet, swimming by butterfly style and diving. Sudden movements can cause damage to you and your baby. So the best way to swim is controlling the breath and allowing water to keep you.
Jogging: Many women still do so during pregnancy. But if there is a risk during pregnancy, running is not a good idea. You should reduce speed and reduce the distance, compared with the period before pregnancy. Even after some time, you can interrupt runnning and start walking. If you feel pain, muscle tension or bleeding, call your doctor.

If you like to do water skiing in the summer then this sport will have to be stopped in pregnancy. If your favorite sport and hobby is bowling, there are no reasons not to play it. But if you have a later date of pregnancy, be careful, back pain may start. Since your center of gravity has moved,it can be difficult to play bowling.

Pain in the lower abdomen (with nausea and vomiting)
Severe pain in lower abdomen may indicate at indigestion, stomach problems, food poisoning, or pre-eclampsia (high blood pressure, swelling due to fluid accumulation and impairment of kidney functions during pregnancy). This is also an important point to which attention should be paid and it should be treated so that there woldn’t be any damage for the baby.

Cephalea
If the duration of headache is more than 2-3 hours, there are problems with eyesight and suddenly your hands, eyes and face become swollen - this can also be preeclampsia.
Vaginal bleeding
Bleeding during pregnancy, no matter at what stage of pregnancy you are, may be indicators of serious problems.
• Bleeding, accompanied by strong or weak, long or sharp pains in your abdomen, may be indicators of an ectopic pregnancy (in the ectopic pregnancy - the embryo begins its development outside the uterine cavity). This situation also requires urgent medical intervention.
• Severe bleeding, accompanied by back pain and lower abdominal pain, may signal a miscarriage.
• If it occurs in late pregnancy, it means that the placenta moves away from the walls of the uterus (placenta is a structure that ensures the transfer of food, oxygen and other substances between the child and mother)
The uncontrolled release of fluid from the vagina
• The fluid flowing uncontrollably from the vagina, means that that the guard of the child in the womb shell has exploded prematurely. In this situation, your doctor or midwife will refer you to a hospital for treatment, to prevent infection and to prepare for possible premature birth.
A very strong thirst, despite the small number or absence of urination.
This may be an indicator of dehydration (fluid loss, lack of fluid in the body) or point to diabetes developing during pregnancy and increasing the risk for you and the child.
Painful or burning, urination

If the child does not move, or for more than 24 hours, moving less, he may be in danger.

This, especially if itch is strong, growing at night and strongly felt on the palms and soles of the feet can indicate at liver problems.
Falling or damaging the stomach
Call your doctor or midwife and tell them. Maybe you do not need to worry because the child is protected in the uterus. But if you went into labor, hemorrhage or release of fluid from the vagina, you should immediately call the doctor or midwife or go to the nearest hospital.
Pregnancy and Flu
What is influenza?
Flu shots every year cause disease in 10-20% of the population and hospitalizationo of hundreds of people. The influenza virus, due to its ability to almost every year a little mutate, each year may again become a cause of disease. The influenza virus often spreads through the respiratory ways, but you can also be infected with flu by direct contact with nasal and oral secretions of the patient. The virus is spread by respiratory ways and primarily attached to the cells of the respiratory tract, after 1-5 days of short incubation period reveals the overall picture of disease. Persons infected with the virus for 5-10 days are contagious to others. Because of that virus infection occurs before the onset of the disease, and it is impossible to stop the spread of the disease.
What are the symptoms of influenza?
Classic symptoms of influenza, observed a more than half of cases, are fever, muscle aches, cough and headache. Some people over 3-5 days, but some people longer cough, feel weakness.
• For influenza it is typical an outbreak of the disease. Patients can usually tell when it all began.
• Maybe there is a strong pain in your throat, which lasts 3-5 days. Patients can go to the doctor for this reason.
• Pain in muscles is also a frequent symptom and may be moderate and severe.
• Often, too, there usually are very severe headaches and pain in the forehead. In some patients there is increased sensitivity to light, burning of eyes.
Can influenza be dangerous?
Despite the fact that influenza is very common, it can cause serious complications and may even lead to death. In elder persons and persons with internal diseases, such as liver disease and heart failure, diabetes, diseases that weaken the immune system, etc. can begin sharpening of the disease. Less than similar cases in patients younger than 18 years, according to some medical reasons forced constantly to take aspirin, may also happen cases of Reye syndrome, during which there is made damage to the brain and myocardium (cardiac muscle damage).
Why the vaccine against influenza?
Due to the fact that there is no specific treatment for people afflicted with the flu, and it is impossible to stop its spread, people should be vaccinated against influenza : in the first place people at risk (people aged over 65 suffering from chronic heart, lung, kidney, diabetes and children), because these individuals bear the disease difficult and their illness can reach up to hospitalization and death.
How effective is the vaccine against influenza?
Vaccination against influenza is effective in preventing influenza in 90% of people with healthy immunity. Approximately for 60% of older people it is effective in preventing hospitalization.
Are there flu vaccine side effects?
Typically, a vaccine against influenza has few side effects. They are limited between slight inflammation at the injection site of the vaccine and very rare reactions such as muscle aches, headache or weakness. Side effects most often occur in people vaccinated for the first time, may be felt 1-2 days, and then pass.
Are pregnant women at risk?
40-50% of hospital admissions and 95% of deaths are in people over age 65, as a result of the research it was found that young and adult people, that have been for long periods in the care with chronic internal diseases such as asthma, and pregnant women are at risk of complications.
Pregnant women, especially in the later stages of pregnancy, even when healthy are at risk of influenza complications.
Women after 4 months of pregnancy, more than ever before are at risk of flu complications such as pneumonia and 4 times more than before they have a chance of admission to hospital. The American Center for Disease Control considers persons of the same age, one pregnant woman, and another person with a chronic disease in one group of risk as they have the same possibility of hospitalization and identified women who have 2 or 3 months of pregnancy in a group, to be vaccinated. Women with asthma, diabetes and heart disease, are recommended to be vaccinated, regardless of gestational age.
In the past 17 years influenza seasons have been studied to identify the impact of influenza and similar diseases to pregnant women. This study showed that pregnant women after 6 months of pregnancy are treated in hospital with liver diseases and heart in the same number as non-pregnant, but suffering from serious internal diseases of women. In subsequent months of pregnancy increases the risk.
For women at 37-42 weeks of gestation, compared with women after 1-6 months after birth, the risk of hospitalization due to heart and lung diseases is 5 times higher. Pregnant women with asthma, in the flu seasons are at particularly high risk of hospitalization.
In the first 3 months of pregnancy is not recommended to use the vaccine. The first 3 months of pregnancy in terms of complications compared with subsequent months do not create a great risk but in the first 3 months of pregnancy is not recommended to use the vaccine. The reason is that in the first 3 months of pregnancy this vaccine is not recommended because comparing with other months, the risk of miscarriage is bigger and should not be allowed the opportunity to think that the reason of it is vaccine.
Why pregnancy - the period of risk of influenza?
The reasons why influenza is poorly tolerated during pregnancy are:
• fast heartbeat, increased blood transfusion and oxygen consumption. Decline in lung volume.
• Changes in the functions of the immune system during pregnancy
Is influenza vaccine safe for pregnant women?
The vaccine against influenza is inanimated (inactivated) and does not contain living virus, so it is safe as said by specialists. In a study 2000 women took part and they did not identify any problems in children. According to the results of smaller studies also was recognized the little amount of risk to mother and child.
I'm pregnant Do I need to have this vaccine?
All biological agents and drugs, including influenza vaccine, should not be used without a medical prescription. Pregnant women who have reached the 3-months period during the influenza season, have to consult their doctor to be sure.
